Fundraiser Opportunities
Contributing To Our School
There are many ways to contribute to the school that take very little effort. These fundraisers are on going during the school year and include the following:
School Community Happenings Books
The Happening Books are currently being sold from Sept. 10th to Sept. 29th. Students received a sample book and order forms. Students will need to either give the book to the last person they sell to or turn the book in at the end of the sales time. This fundraiser is for the school community council and is used for purchases for the school such as sound enhancement systems and other needs.
Box Tops

Collect your box tops from General Mills products and other things that you need at the grocery store. When you have collected a few tape them to the box top form that your child brings home and then send them back to their teacher. Every box top that you save will earn money for our school.
Campbell Soup Labels for Education

This program allows West Jordan Elementary to purchase needed supplies for our classrooms. To participate clip the UPC symbol from Campbells products. Send the UPC symbols with your child to the school. UPC symbols look like the above labels from the above picture.
Paper Recycling
West Jordan Elementary has an on going paper recycling project. Bring your old newspaper, phone books, etc over to the school and put it in the large recycling bin in the parking lot. The school earns money for the amount of paper it recycles each month.
Macys Receipts
Another way to raise money for our students is to collect your Maceys recepits from our West Jordan Maceys. Write "Wes Jordan Elementary" and your child's grade on the back of the receipt. Then drop them in the "School Cents" box in the office.
