Parent Teacher Conference

It is not too late to register for parent teacher conference. Instructions have been sent home with our students on how to register for parent teacher conference. Don't forget to do that because parent teacher conferences are this next week.

Book Fair at the Elementary School

Along with the Parent Teacher Conference will be our biannual book fair. This time it will be online as well as at the school. Please check back for the link.

Internet and Library Research

When it is time to do homework your students don't just have to "google" it. Pioneer Library is a great resource for your students to use, and they are learning about it in school this week. Also, need a book or to know what is in the West Jordan Elementary Library. Now you can check it out online. Click on the links below to see what we have.

Cold Weather Reminder

Staff at West Jordan Elementary would like to remind parents that students still go out to recess during cold weather. Please make sure that your children are wearing coats gloves when they come to school. Students will go out to recess if it is 25 degrees or warmer. If it is 15 to 25 degrees it is the choice of the principal. It will be an inside day if it is below 15 degrees. Only those students who have turned in the health form indicating they have an asthmatic condition or who bring on note from their parent will be allowed to stay in from recess.
