Returning Student Registration
Returning Student Registration: Registration for returning students will be from August 11th through August 31st. All returning students must complete their registrations online through the Jordan School District Family Access System. Instructions have been e-mailed to parents. New students need to bring a birth certificate, immunization record, and proof of address to the office.
Parking Lot and Drop Off Rules
In order to ensure student safety we ask all families to follow the following drop-off/pick up rules:
1. Students may NOT be picked up or dropped off on the east side of 2370 west.
2. Students must be accompnied by an adult if they cross into the "Thru Lane".
3. Students must be accompnied by an adult if the cross the parking lot entrance or exit.
4. Students should enter/exit vehicles on the passenger side only.
5. Please continue to set a positive example for students by crossing at the cross walks only.
6. The speed limit in the parking lot is 5 m.p.h.
7. Pull as far forward as possible in the pick up/drop-off lane.
PTA Meeting September 3rd at 9:00 a.m. - everyone welcome
PTA Membership - PTA membership this year will be $5.00 per person. Envelopes will be sent home with student this first week of school or can be found in the office
PTA Carnival - The PTA carnival will be held September 25th from 5 to 8 p.m. There will be games, bounce houses, bake sale and more. The PTA is looking for bake sale items. If you can help contact Gillian Burge at firstname.lastname@example.org
Community Involvement Fundraiser
During the month of September, West Jordan Elementary students will be collecting their change for the children of St. Jude's Hospital. We will be having a friendly competitiion between classes and the winning class will earn an ice cream party. More information will be coming home with your student.
West Jordan Elementary is seeking volunteers to help in the classroom and to be room mothers. There are a variety of different ways you can help. A sign ups will be coming home with your student. We look forward to partnering with you to help our students.
Parent Volunteer Form
Parents, if you are interested in helping with your child's field trips this year you will need to be fingerprinted and have the following volunteer form filled out and turned into Mr. Emerson. A signed volunteer form must be turned in every year. Fingerprinting is good for five years. Volunteer forms for fingerprinting must be turned in atleast two weeks before the fieldtrip!

Friday - 8:25 a.m. to 1:25
A.M. Kindergarten: Mon to Thurs - 8:25 a.m. to 11:10 a.m.
Friday - 8:25 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
P.M. Kindergarten: Mon to Thurs - 12:25 p.m. to 3:05 p.m.
Friday - 11:25 p.m. to 1:25 p.m.
