Preschool Program Available

There is a new free family preschool program available at West Jordan Elementary called Parent and Preschool. This is an exciting opportunity to spend a half an hour or so with your children and help them learn! We are now accepting 3 year olds and 4 year olds for the current school year. This is a great way to get your children ready for kindergarten.

Children must be in West Jordan Elementary School's boundries and children must be accompnied by and adult. Classes are held Monday and Wednesdays, 8:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. at the elementary school. If you have questions you can contact Angela Hamilton at 801-565-7506. If you are interested in attending click on the link below, print out the form and return it to West Jordan Elementary School.

School Climate Survey

During the end of February and the month of March parents have the opportunity to fill out a survey about West Jordan Elementary School. This important feedback lets us know where we can improve and what we are doing right. The link will be available to take the survey starting February 21st.

School Lunches

Lunches cost $1.75 per day and must be pre-paid. Reduced price lunches will remain at $0.40 each. Breakfast will be served at 8:10. Breakfast prices are $0.80 per day or $0.30 for the reduced breakfast. The cost of milk will remain at $0.25 each. For students currently on or applying for free or reduced lunch, these applications must be submitted to the school each and every year. Until applications are turned in and approved students will need to pay for lunches. Lunch fees are not retroactive upon the approval of free/reduced lunch applications, so the sooner you get the applications in the sooner they can be approved.
