Program Description
Jordan School District students receiving special education services in grades 9-12 may apply to South Valley School's wood shop program. For 11/2-2 hours daily, students receive vocational instruction by certified instructors.

South Valley School's wood shop is a fully equipped facility where custom wood products are produced by students enrolled in the part-time program. South Valley's exceptional safety record sets the standard for students being trained to operate the various wood working machines. The students also learn basic math and measuring skills, while working individually and as part of a team.
