YEAR-ROUND REGISTRATION INFORMATION
2012-2013
Dear Mountain Shadows Parents,
We are in the process of retracking for the upcoming 2012-2013 school year. Please complete the Year-Round Registration Form and return it to the office by Friday, April 13th. If the form is not returned by the deadline date your track preference will be given a lower priority by the District Computer System. Track/Class assignment will be mailed to you around the first part of June.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Complete the Registration Form with all information requested: (One per Family)

*Address, home, & work phone numbers

*Four (4) different track preferences for your family. All siblings will be assigned to the same track unless otherwise specified.

*Information for each child, grade for the next year, legal name and birthday

*Preference for track or AM/PM Kindergarten (if applicable)
If you are registering a kindergarten student, please attach the Birth Certificate and Immunization form to your registration form or bring them to Kindergarten Orientation on April 13th.

Multi-Family or Daycare: Families that would like to be together on the same track need to send in their forms stapled together (no more than four families). You must have the same four preferences listed in the same order on your forms. We will do our best to keep family preferences together, but it is unlikely that you will receive A or D tracks, as these are the most requested tracks.

Track and Class Assignments will be made by random selection by the District Computer System. Track changes will be made as space permits. Assignments/changes are NOT made on a first come first serve basis, but are made based on balanced track and class sizes. This is given priority so that overcrowding can be eliminated and a quality educational environment can be maintained.

March 12th – Registration forms mailed
April 13th – Last day to return forms
May 25th – Track assignments mailed to parents
May 29th – June 8th Track/Teacher Change requests accepted
