Reading Calendars

Celebrate reading with children's authors' and illustrators' birthdays. Have a loss for what to read to your child today? Do you want to read something new? Or perhaps an oldie but a goodie? Why not pick up a book by an author or illustrator who is celebrating his/her birthday this week. Click on a month below to see the author and illustrator birthdays for that month.

This is by no means a comprehensive list of all of the wonderful children's authors' and illustrators' birthdays. If your favorite author or illustrator is not listed, email me with his or her name, and I will try to find a birthdate and add him/her to our calendars.
